I really don&#039;t understand what you mean when you say &quot;consolidate activities.&quot;  But if you are referring to the consolidation of the banking sector, it has already begun. For example, JP Morgan &amp; Chase,  JP MorganChase and Bank One.  You get the picture?  The role of the exchange in this situation was to facilitate the merging of shares between these individual banks into one share to be traded on the Stock Exchange.</description>
