@Panpiper Blumenthal is only worth about 2 million, so maybe Peter has a chance. I hope so. But remember this, throughout history men have preferred lies to the truth.

@marketwatch101 Actually he is running against Richard Blumenthal, a classic insider, as Christopher Dodd is resigning from politics (no doubt aware that his career is over after the role he played in the financial collapse). I do not expect Peter to prevent the over the cliff scenario. I want him in place to help pick up the pieces, so that there is a true voice for liberty and reason in the Senate when everyone else is reeling in shock and wondering what to do.

@Panpiper Peter is running against Christopher Dodd who has a net worth of 31 million, Not bad for a servant of the people. What we need is a revolution in this country. Maybe Peter is the start but in the history of the world, no country that was headed in the wrong direction ever stopped and turned itself around before going over the cliff.

@michaelpshipley1 he’s rich, we’re poor, he’s paid, we’re not…. it’s about the rich and the poor… and yes, it is too much for him to ask.

is it too much for me to ask him to stop asking me for things without putting money on the table?

since most calls end up as a smart drop, or no answer, why not let a computer make all the calls. it can make hundreds of calls a hour. when a person answers, the computer simply routes it to a real person. thats much more productive use of a small number of people.

@pretorious700 i like to think of peter in the senate as an infiltrator that will feed us information on what the government is secretly planning to do to us. a senator has a lot of power, he can request info on military operations, homeland security operations, cia operations. information is power. we need one of our people in there.

@66chevyo he was just showing how its ok to look silly. he’s actually teaching people a good lesson. what it takes to be successful is to conquer fear. giving in to fear is what keeps people from being successful. he’s saing, face your fear, get over it and you will succeed in business and in life.

@jokertim777 thats actually a very good idea. all you guys, get your girlfriend to make the calls. then pay her. girls love money.

  19. michaelpshipley1 - July 28th, 2010 at 2:13 pm

@Vertigo2903 yeah, he picked one of the hardest states to run in. a lot of old foggies there who arent even on the internet. being an internet star didnt do that much for him.

  20. michaelpshipley1 - July 28th, 2010 at 2:27 pm

@IcebergEntOFFICIAL most likely he’d move to israel. israel is booming economically too.

  21. michaelpshipley1 - July 28th, 2010 at 2:59 pm

@mosikkkk google: peter schiff senate issues

  22. michaelpshipley1 - July 28th, 2010 at 3:22 pm

@rtardbox i dont think its too much to ask to make a few phone calls. he doesnt want to be like linda and pay a lot of people to make calls. its fake.and peter definitely wont profit from the salary a senator gets lol! its a huge pay cut for him!

  23. michaelpshipley1 - July 28th, 2010 at 3:46 pm

@ararat123457 i had no problem with the audio myself. i use speakers.

  24. michaelpshipley1 - July 28th, 2010 at 4:12 pm

this just shows how difficult it is for guys to talk to strangers on the phone. they loath it. men aren’t talkers, they’re doers. i say again, all you guys, see if any of your friends who are girls could be persuaded to make some calls, girls are good on the phone, its how they’re wired. promise them a free lunch or something.

  25. 32doors - July 28th, 2010 at 4:42 pm

Peter, could you explain why your campaign hasn’t been endorsed or promoted by other like minded politicians, especially Ron Paul?

Did you call him up and ask for his support and he turned you down, or what? It’s sad to see your campaign struggling for lack of funds and manpower when a word from him might be enough to get you the nomination. If there’s any hope of getting an endorsement, even at this late stage you should go for it. You have nothing to lose by asking if you haven’t already.
